Chandigarh Housing Board on Friday conducted an e-auction of 145 dwelling units, including both residential and commercial units. Out of 145, only 3 of the units were sold in the auction. CHB fetched a total of Rs 1.83 crore from the auction.
Of the 13 residential units available for auction on a freehold basis, Board was able to auction only three.
CHB was not able to auction any residential unit available for leasehold basis. A total of 24 residential units on leasehold basis were available for auction.
Among the units that were sold, one is a Middle Income Group unit in Sector 51. It went for 95 lakh against the reserve price of 90 lakh.
A one-bedroom dwelling unit in Sector 63 went for Rs 44.64 lakh against the reserve price of Rs 44 lakh. Another one bedroom dwelling unit in Sector 63 went for Rs 44.21 lakh against the reserve price of Rs 44 lakh. CHB invited bids for its built-up residential and commercial units(leasehold and freehold). As per the schedule, e-bids could be made till 10 AM on Friday, and the bidding then started at 10:15 AM.
