With Covid-19 seemingly coming under control, Chandigarh Administration further relaxed restrictions in the city.
In a breather for the shopkeepers of the city, administration allowed opening of the shops till 4 pm. This ruling will continue till 6 AM on 9 June. It is also to be noted that all sports facilities be opened for sportspersons, but strict covid guidelines will have to be followed.
The order further states that all barber shops/salons can be opened but for hair cutting only. Services requiring physical touch including massage, facial etc. are still prohibited. All swimming pools, spas, massage centres and gyms will continue to remain closed.
